Mechanical Engineer

Manufacturing & Machine Building Job Description:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong hands-on manufacturing knowledge in conveyor systems and industrial machine building. The role focuses on production, assembly, installation, and coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise manufacturing and fabrication of conveyor systems and industrial machines
• Coordinate with shop-floor teams for machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly activities
• Read and understand mechanical drawings and ensure accurate execution on the shop floor
• Ensure correct installation of motors, gearboxes, rollers, belts, chains, bearings, and other mechanical components
• Monitor quality, dimensions, tolerances, and fitment during manufacturing and assembly
• Handle machine assembly, alignment, and trial runs
• Support machine installation and commissioning at customer sites
• Identify manufacturing issues and provide practical solutions during assembly
• Coordinate with stores and purchase teams for material availability
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturing best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong knowledge of conveyor manufacturing and machine assembly processes
• Good understanding of fabrication methods, welding, machining, and fitting
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs
• Practical experience in industrial machine manufacturing environments
• Good communication and team coordination skills

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in conveyor manufacturing and machine-building industry (preferred)
