Purchase Engineer

Job Title: Purchase Engineer (4-6 Years Experience)

Location: Alandi Phata, Pune.

Job Type: Full-Time.

Industry: Manufacturing / Engineering (Min. 01 Year Experience in Fasteners Background)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience.

Required Candidate Immediate Joiner to 15 Days Notice Period.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1) Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
• 2) Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
• 3) Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• 4) Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to understand technical requirements.
• 5) Monitor inventory levels and forecast future supply needs.
• 6) Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• 7) Analyze market trends and provide input for budget planning and supplier selection.
• 8) Resolve supplier issues and maintain long-term vendor relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 1) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2) 4–6 years of experience in a purchase or procurement of Fasteners within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• 3) Strong understanding of supply chain processes and sourcing strategies.
• 4) Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• 5) Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 6) Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 1) Knowledge of international sourcing and import procedures.
• 2) Experience with quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
• 3) Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) is a plus
