Job Description
- Structural Fabrication: Incoming material verification, cutting/drilling monitoring, assembly alignment, straightness verification, and weld quality on structural joints
- Welding Inspection: Visual inspection, bead profile assessment, HAZ monitoring, defect detection, NDT coordination, and weld documentation
- In-Process Assembly: Dimensional checks during assembly, preparation of reports, NC compliance and ECN
- Machined Components: Critical dimension verification on shafts, pulley, machined plates
- Brought-Out Items: Receiving inspection of purchased components (bearings, seals, fasteners, electrical items), supplier verification, and performance monitoring
- Key skills- 7 QC TOOLS, FMEA, CAPA, HEAT TREATMENT, NDT
- Software proficiency – Office 365, soldwork ( at least read only )
- Measurement & Inspection Tools: Vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, dial gauges, surface finish gaugesHardness testers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) ,Weld gauges, thread gauges, straightedges
