Quality Supervisor

Job Role Responsibility -

1. Supervise line-level quality inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final inspections.

2. Allocate work to Quality Inspectors and ensure adequate manpower on the line.

3. Ensure inspections are carried out as per inspection plans, SOPs, and control plans.

4. Verify product dimensions, appearance, and workmanship using measuring instruments and gauges.

5. Identify, segregate, and control non-conforming materials/products on the line.

6. Report quality issues, deviations, and recurring defects to the Quality Engineer/Manager.

7. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 procedures and customer quality requirements.

9. Maintain and verify inspection records, quality checklists, rejection reports, and shift reports.

10. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspected materials and products.

11. Guide and train new quality inspectors on inspection methods and shop-floor discipline.

12. Ensure adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards on the line.
