We are currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our Maintenance and Repair division.

Job Summary

As a Junior Civil Engineer – Maintenance, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and renovation activities at various sites across India. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure that structural integrity, safety standards, and functional aesthetics are maintained, addressing maintenance complaints promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspections & Repair: Conduct routine inspections of existing buildings, and infrastructure to detect structural issues, cracks, seepage, or damage.
• Maintenance Execution: Supervise on-ground repair work (civil repairs, waterproofing, plumbing, flooring, and painting) to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and improve asset life.
• Coordination: Act as a central point of contact between site engineers, contractors, vendors, and regional managers.
• Material & Vendor Management: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), track material consumption, and ensure the quality of materials used in repairs.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports, keep records of maintenance activities, and update site asset registers.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols (PPE, scaffolding safety) during repair works to maintain a secure environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in site execution, maintenance, or repair works. Freshers with strong technical knowledge are welcome.
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of construction materials, repair techniques (waterproofing/structural repairs), and the ability to read structural drawings.
• Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel), and good knowledge of quantity surveying.
• Travel Willingness: Flexibility to work in different Indian states and remote locations as per project needs.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and communication skills.
