Job Description

A Sales and Marketing Manager in the travel industry drives business growth by creating and executing strategies for tours, packages, or services, focusing on lead generation, brand building, and sales team leadership, utilizing market trend analysis, digital marketing, and strong client relationships to meet targets, often requiring deep industry knowledge and sales tech proficiency. They manage promotional campaigns, build partner networks, analyze sales data (KPIs), and guide teams to boost bookings and revenue in the competitive tourism sector. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop sales plans, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Sales Execution: Drive lead generation, close deals, and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate sales teams.
  • Marketing: Oversee digital marketing, content, and brand visibility.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, agents, and clients.
  • Reporting: Track performance, analyze data, and report to senior management. 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales management in travel, tourism, or hospitality.

  • Commercial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership ability.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles.
