Job Description: IT Support Engineer

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• IT Support & Daily Operations Set up new systems (OS installation, software setup, configuration).
• Provide day-to-day support for email issues, printing problems, internet errors, and application support.
• Perform routine check-ups to ensure smooth functioning of all IT equipment.

2. Desktop & Hardware Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and replace faulty hardware components (RAM, SSD, SMPS, motherboard, etc.).
• Handle system formatting, data backup, and system optimization when required.

3. Networking Support Troubleshoot LAN/Wi-Fi issues and maintain uninterrupted internet connectivity.

• Manage basic network configurations, including assigning and maintaining IP addresses.
• Assist in monitoring network performance.

4. Software & OS Support

• Install and configure commonly used applications.
• Resolve Windows OS issues and fix system errors.
• Assist employees with application updates and installation.

5. Documentation & Asset Management

• Maintain an updated record of IT assets — desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, etc.
• Document system configurations and troubleshooting logs.
• Follow IT policies related to data security and equipment handling.

🔹 Required Qualifications12th / Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certification in Hardware & Networking (preferred).
• Strong understanding of basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
