Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with a mechanical engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD for creating precise technical drawings and will also be actively involved in the production process. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that designs are translated efficiently and accurately into manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

AutoCAD Design:

• Develop detailed 2D technical drawings and models using AutoCAD.
• Revise and update existing drawings based on production needs and design changes.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure the feasibility of designs.
• Create mechanical layouts, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings for production.

Production Support:

• Monitor the production process to ensure designs are executed as per specifications.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues during production and provide timely solutions.
• Assist in developing production procedures that align with the design specifications.
• Work with the production team to improve efficiency and reduce errors in manufacturing.
• Ensure that all technical documentation, including drawings and BOMs, is up to date.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in AutoCAD (2D) with a focus on mechanical components and systems.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both design and production teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
