Assistant Manager - Operations & Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the CGD network, ensuring uninterrupted supply of  Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and technical systems within the gas distribution infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of operational issues and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Support the implementation of advanced technologies and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of network expansion projects, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities and business objectives.
• Provide technical support and training to field teams to enhance their operational competencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in operations and maintenance within the oil & gas or energy sector, preferably in City Gas Distribution.
• Proven expertise in handling mechanical systems, pipelines, and gas distribution infrastructure.
