 Job SummaryThe Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, addressing guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming front desk experience.

  • ๐Ÿ”‘ Key Responsibilities1. Guest ServicesGreet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
  • Verify guest information and process payments
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements promptly
  • 2. Reservations & BookingManage room reservations via phone, email, and online systems
  • Update booking information in the Property Management System (PMS)
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room readiness
  • Upsell rooms and hotel services when appropriate
  • 3. Administrative DutiesMaintain accurate guest records and billing information
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails
  • Maintain front desk logs and reports
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized
  • 4. Communication & CoordinationCoordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments
  • Report maintenance issues and guest concerns
  • Assist in handling emergency situations according to hotel policies
  • ๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree preferred)
  • 1โ€“2 years of customer service or front desk experience (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel PMS software
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
