Accounting Assistant

About the CompanyFavourite Fab is a growing business in the textile/fabric industry, focused on delivering quality products and efficient operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to support our finance and accounting functions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records and daily accounting entries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and issue invoices, purchase entries, and bills
• Handle GST compliance, return filing, and documentation
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
• Support payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Coordinate with auditors and external accountants when required

• Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally / Busy
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Preferred QualificationsExperience in textile/fabric or trading business
• Familiarity with inventory accounting
• Basic understanding of compliance and audits
