Job Description

The Accountant cum Office Assistant will manage day-to-day accounting activities while supporting office administration and coordination.

The role requires accuracy, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to handle travel-related documentation and vendor coordination.


Key Responsibilities


Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain daily accounts, cash book, and bank records
  • Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
  • Track customer payments, pending balances, and follow-ups
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Assist in GST-related data preparation and filing support
  • Maintain vendor payment schedules and expense records
  • Travel & Operations SupportMaintain booking-related financial records (packages, hotels, flights, transfers)
  • Coordinate with vendors for invoices and payment confirmations
  • Track advance payments, balance collections, and refunds
  • Support costing and profit calculation for tour packages


Office Administration

  • Handle office correspondence (email, WhatsApp, documents)
  • Maintain physical and digital files (guest details, invoices, permits)
  • Assist with staff attendance, leave records, and basic HR support
  • Coordinate office supplies and basic administrative tasks
  • Reporting & DocumentationPrepare daily/weekly/monthly financial summaries
  • Support management with reports and data when required
  • Ensure proper filing of bills, vouchers, and statutory document


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Com /Diploma in Accounting (preferred)
  • 1–3 years experience in accounting or office administration
  • Knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic accounting principles
  • Basic understanding of GST and invoicing
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality


Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

  • Experience in travel or service industry
  • Knowledge of vendor billing and client invoicing
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure during peak season
