Travel Consultant

The Travel Consultant is responsible for advising clients, selling travel packages, and managing end-to-end bookings.

The role requires strong destination knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings

while ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Handling

• Handle inbound and outbound travel enquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media
• Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable domestic and international packages
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and achieve monthly sales targets
• Upsell add-ons such as activities, meal plans, upgrades, and insurance
• Travel Planning & BookingsCreate customized itineraries based on client preferences and budget
• Book flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing, ferries, and activities
• Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, and destination partners
• Ensure accuracy in vouchers, invoices, and travel documents
• Documentation & ComplianceCollect and verify guest documents (ID proof, passport, permits, visas if applicable)
• Share confirmations, vouchers, and itineraries in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with destination-specific rules (permits, child policy, nationality rules)

Post-Booking Support

• Act as the point of contact until trip completion
• Handle changes, cancellations, and client concerns professionally
• Coordinate with operations team for smooth trip execution

Reporting & CRM

• Update enquiry status, bookings, and follow-ups in CRM or tracking sheets
• Maintain proper records of payments, invoices, and confirmations
• Share daily/weekly sales updates with the team lead
