Assistant Manager – Data Engineer, Tax Technology

• Roles and responsibilities
• The responsibilities of the role include:
• Responsible for client interaction to gather the Business challenges and documentation
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.
• Responsible of presenting the solution and insight to the Clients.
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data

• Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships

   

• Requirement 
• Design, build, and maintain Azure data services for internal and client platforms, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Stream Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, and MS Fabric.
• Develop and implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions in PySpark clusters.
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate with the team to design optimised data models for traditional warehouses as well as the latest delta lakes.
• Ensure data security, compliance, and best practices are always maintained.
• Optimise system performance, ensuring the fastest possible data retrieval and efficient data updates.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends.

Experience & Background 

• Graduate/Post-Graduate qualification B.Tech./BCA/MBA/M-Tech/MCA
• Relevant experience of 2-10 years
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Any exposure to Tax Technologies a definite positive.
• Strong SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic tools.
