Job Description
The Branch Manager – Sports Infrastructure will be responsible for driving business growth of Maverick Corporation’s turf, tiles, and sports flooring solutions in the assigned territory. The role includes recruitment and leadership of the branch team, development of B2B and B2C customer networks, promotion of Maverick’s sports infrastructure products, and ensuring smooth coordination between sales, site execution, and accounts.
- Key Responsibilities1. Team Recruitment & LeadershipRecruit, onboard, and manage branch staff including:
- Sales Executives (Sports Infrastructure)
- Site Engineer (Installation & Project Execution)
- Accounts Executive
- Set sales targets, execution timelines, and accountability for each role.
- Train the team on Maverick’s turf, tiles, and sports flooring products, applications, and USPs.
- Drive a performance-oriented and customer-focused culture.
- 2. Sales & Business Development (Turf & Tiles)Achieve sales and revenue targets for:
- Sports turfs (cricket, football, pickleball, multi-sport, practice pitches)
- Sports tiles and modular flooring systems
- Develop B2B business with:
- Sports academies, clubs, schools, colleges
- Stadiums, government & PSU projects
- Builders, developers, contractors
- Architects, consultants, and project management firms
- Generate B2C sales through direct customer engagement and local marketing initiatives.
- Lead high-value negotiations, tenders, and project-based sales.
- 3. Customer & Channel Network DevelopmentBuild and manage a strong dealer, distributor, and installer network.
- Create relationships with key influencers in sports infrastructure:
- Coaches, sports associations, facility managers
- Conduct product demos, site visits, and technical presentations.
- Ensure repeat business through strong post-installation support and relationship management.
- 4. Site Execution & Project CoordinationCoordinate with Site Engineers for:
- Pre-site inspections and BOQs
- Installation planning and supervision
- Quality checks and handover
- Ensure projects are executed as per Maverick quality standards and timelines.
- Act as the single point of contact for customers during project execution.
- 5. Branch Operations, Accounts & ComplianceOversee branch-level operations including sales coordination, billing, dispatch, and collections.
- Work closely with Accounts Executive to ensure:
- Accurate billing and documentation
- Timely collection of receivables
- Monitor inventory requirements for turf and tiles in coordination with warehouses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and reporting systems.
- 6. Market Intelligence & Brand BuildingTrack competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches.
- Provide regular market feedback to head office.
- Support marketing initiatives such as sports events, demos, exhibitions, and association tie-ups.
- Strengthen Maverick Corporation’s brand presence in the sports infrastructure ecosystem.
