Job Summary

• At Accenture Song, delivering top-notch solutions means ensuring development outcomes align with expectations. While manual testing is still important, there's an increasing focus on automating various testing types - functional, regression, visual, performance, and compatibility. As a Technical Test Engineer, you will contribute to our automation efforts, helping enhance overall quality and efficiency.
• Roles and Responsibilities will include:
• Work in agile environments, preferably using Scrum or Kanban methodologies. 
• Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements. 
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and report issues effectively. 
• Perform UI, functional, regression, and smoke testing. 
• Log bugs and provide clear documentation of test results. 
• Show eagerness to learn and contribute proactively in a team environment. 
• Maintain a high standard of work ethics and professionalism. 

Professional and Technical Skills

• 1.5–3 years of experience in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). 
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Cypress or Playwright. 
• Basic knowledge of creating and maintaining automation frameworks. 
• Programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (Python is a plus). 
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. 
• Familiarity with BDD (e.g., Cucumber) or TDD (e.g., JUnit) is desirable. 
• Basic understanding of testing RESTful APIs. 
• Experience with Git-based version control systems like GitHub or GitLab. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps). 
• Exposure to build tools like NPM or Maven. 

Additional Information

• Some experience in Selenium and Java-based automation. 
• Exposure to cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. 
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. 
• Basic experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium). 
• Understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter). 
• Experience in generating reports using tools like Allure or Extent Reports. 
• Awareness of Docker or containerized environments is a plus. 
• Basic understanding of security testing is an advantage. 
• Good to have knowledge/experience in the E-commerce domain.
