Job Description
Job Overview:The Unit Manager is responsible for the daily management and operational success of a specific unit within the agency. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, maintaining client relationships, and meeting performance targets. The Unit Manager will collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategies, improve operational efficiency, and achieve key business goals.
Key Responsibilities:Team Management:
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of unit staff.
Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback to team members.
Ensure that the team is adequately resourced to meet client demands and company objectives.
Operational Efficiency:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the unit to ensure smooth workflows.
Monitor productivity, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for operational improvement.
Track performance metrics and report on key operational outcomes.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Address and resolve any client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Budgeting and Financial Oversight:
Assist in budget planning and management for the unit.
Monitor financial performance, ensuring that the unit operates within its budget.
Implement cost-saving measures and track expenditures.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that the unit adheres to industry standards, legal regulations, and company policies.
Identify potential risks within the unit and propose solutions to mitigate them.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present reports on unit performance, budget status, and client feedback to senior management.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, staff performance, and operational activities.
Key Requirements:Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum of 1 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an agency or similar environment.
Proven track record of successful team management and operational oversight.
Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance data and financial reports.
High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of CRM systems is a plus).
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
