Job Description

A Channel Partner Manager - AABP - VAM Model (sometimes called an Indirect Sales Manager) is the bridge between a company and the third-party entities—distributors, resellers, or agents.


Role Overview


The primary goal is to build and maintain a "channel" of partners to drive revenue growth. You aren't just selling a product; you are selling a business opportunity to the partner.


Key Responsibilities


Partner Recruitment: Identifying and onboarding new agencies, resellers, or distributors that align with the company’s target market.


Enablement & Training: Ensuring partners have the technical knowledge, marketing collateral, and sales tools they need to be successful.


Relationship Management: Acting as the main point of contact to resolve conflicts, manage "deal registration," and keep the partner loyal to your brand over competitors.


Strategy & Planning: Developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and setting sales targets with each partner.


Performance Tracking: Monitoring KPIs like partner-led revenue, pipeline growth, and certification levels.
