CNC Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong knowledge in CNC Turning and Sliding Head (Swiss Type) machines. The candidate will be responsible for creating CNC programs, optimizing machining processes, and supporting production activities to achieve high-quality and efficient manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

🔧CNC Programming

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for CNC turning and sliding head machines
• Program using Fanuc controllers
• Prepare machining strategies for complex precision components

⚙️ Process Planning

• Prepare process sheets, tool layouts, and setup sheets
• Select cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters
• Estimate cycle time and improve productivity

📐 Drawing Interpretation

• Interpret 2D drawings and GD&T
• Develop machining methods for tight tolerance components

🛠 Machine Setup Support

• Guide operators during machine setup
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve tool life

📊 Quality & Productivity

• Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish
• Reduce cycle time and improve process efficiency

Required Skills

✔ CNC programming – Turning & Swiss Type (Sliding Head)

✔ Knowledge of Fanuc controls

✔ Experience with multi-axis turning machines

✔ Strong understanding of cutting tools and inserts

✔ Knowledge of GD&T and precision machining

✔ Experience in cycle time optimization
