Job brief

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Preference will be given to candidates residing within Howrah to Srerampore.

·        Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

·        Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and resolving any issues.

·        Manage the company's budget, forecasting financial trends and analyzing variances to inform strategic decisions.

·        Coordinate the year-end audit process by liaising with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.

·        Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.

·        Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.

·        Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and decision-making processes.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years above work experience as an Accountant position in any industry.

Leadership abilities to mentor junior staff and oversee accounting teams.

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills for accurate financial reporting.

Experience with tax preparation and compliance processes.

     Hands-on experience with accounting software – Tally ERP 9

Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create complex financial models and perform data analysis.

B Com in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Preference will be given to candidates residing within Howrah to Srerampore .

Salary : Rs. 12000/- to 18000/- (Per Month) Salary will be finalized based on Experience
