Accountant

Role Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant with 10+ years of experience to join our Landscape & Horticulture firm in Salt Lake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project-based accounting, Tally Prime, and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting: Manage daily entries in Tally/ERP (Sales, Purchase, Journal, Receipts).
• Project Costing: Maintain site-wise expense tracking and prepare project cost sheets.
• Taxation: Handle GST workings, TDS calculations, and coordinate with CA for monthly filings.
• Operations: Manage accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and bank reconciliation.
• Site Coordination: Track material consumption and labor payments with site supervisors.
• Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, balance sheets, and financial summaries for management.
• Compliance: Oversee payroll, attendance, and statutory dues (EPF/ESI).

Requirements:

• 10+ years of core accounting experience.
• Experience in Construction, Landscaping, or Horticulture industry is a major plus.
• Expertise in Tally Prime and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, and Labor laws.
• Ability to handle high-volume documentation (Invoices, POs, Challans).
