Job Role: Assistant Manager – Presales & TechnicalDepartment: Enterprise / AV / Network / IT Sales

Dotted Line Reporting: Branch/Regional Manager

• Job Purpose (Short)Understand customer requirements and prepare suitable technical solutions, presentations, BOQs, and SOWs.
• Provide POC, installation, configuration, and onsite technical support.
• Handle warranty/post-warranty support and RMA coordination with OEMs.
• Prepare technical documents for tenders/projects and ensure timely reporting.
• Ensure compliance, process adherence, and support organizational transformation.
• Key Responsibilities (Short)1. PeopleIdentify skill gaps and arrange training for self/team.
• Take required certifications.
• Mentor team members and support retention.
• 2. PresalesSupport sales team in client meetings.
• Identify and qualify leads.
• Design techno-commercial solutions (BOQ, TS, SOW, diagrams, PPTs).
• Conduct competitive analysis and validate technical compliance.
• Engage with OEMs/partners for product updates and support.
• 3. Operations & ExecutionImplement solutions as per scope and timelines.
• Ensure successful installation, configuration, and project completion.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and warranty/post-warranty support.
• Coordinate RMA with OEMs and collect completion certificates.
• 4. Communication & ProcessesParticipate in review meetings.
• Ensure cross-functional communication.
• Follow all organizational processes and support SAP adoption.
• Experience & Education (Short)BE/BSc/MCA with certifications like CCNA/CCNP, NSE (Firewalls).
• 5+ years in Presales & Technical (Networking).
• Strong knowledge of switching, routing, firewalls, L3 networking.
• Experience in IP surveillance, cybersecurity, technical presentations, and project execution.
• Experience handling technical teams.
