Position Overview


The Business Growth Manager will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market presence, and building strategic business opportunities for Data Center infrastructure solutions, including UPS Systems, Precision Air Conditioning, IBMS, Power Distribution, and complete Data Center setups. The role demands strong technical understanding, solution consulting skills, and the ability to convert enterprise opportunities into long-term business relationships.


Key Responsibilities


Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for Data Center solutions across corporate, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to increase market share in Data Center infrastructure products.
  • Create and manage sales pipelines for UPS, PAC, IBMS, PDUs, server room solutions, and turnkey Data Center projects.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.


Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Engage with CIOs, IT Heads, Facility Managers, Consultants, and PMCs to promote Data Center solutions.
  • Build strong long-term relationships with key accounts and enterprise customers.
  • Understand customer pain points and propose the right product mix (UPS, Precision AC, BMS, Racks, etc.). Visit client sites, conduct requirement analysis, and offer technical commercial solutions.


Technical & Solution Engineering Coordination

  • Collaborate with technical teams to prepare BOQs, configuration selections, and solution designs for Data Center setups.
  • Provide product demonstrations, solution presentations, and technical clarifications.
  • Work with OEMs (like Schneider, Vertiv, Delta, Honeywell, etc.) for pricing, solution validation, and technical approvals.


Tendering & Proposal Development

  • Track and respond to government and enterprise tenders related to Data Centers, UPS, Precision Cooling, and IBMS.
  • Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals, compliance sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure complete bid management including follow-ups, negotiation, and order closure.


Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Conduct market research to identify new segments, competition activities, and emerging Data Center trends.
  • Recommend growth strategies, product positioning, and pricing improvements.
  • Develop partnerships with OEMs, contractors, and consultants to strengthen business reach.


Post-Sale Coordination

  • Ensure smooth handover to project and service teams after order closure.
  • Support with documentation, kick-off meetings, and client communication until project execution. 


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Data Center architecture and components (UPS, PAC, IBMS, PDUs, Racks, Precision Cooling, Power Systems).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and solution-selling skills.
  • Ability to handle long sales cycles and enterprise-level clients.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation capabilities.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3–7 years of experience in Data Center infrastructure, UPS, HVAC (Precision AC), IBMS, or related industries.
  • Experience in handling enterprise projects and tenders is an added advantage.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue achievement and margin contribution.
  • New client acquisition and project conversions.
  • Tender success ratio and pipeline growth.
  • Strategic relationship development with OEMs and Consultants
