Job Title:Sales Development Representative (SDR) – BSG Academy


Location:Remote / Kolkata (Hybrid – if applicable)


Experience:0–2 years (Freshers with strong communication skills are welcome)

Role Overview


We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our admissions and outreach efforts. This role is calling-focused and involves engaging with prospective students, understanding their needs, and guiding them through our programs.


Key Responsibilities


Make outbound and inbound calls to prospective students and leads.


Explain BSG Academy programs, courses, and value proposition clearly.


Qualify leads based on interest, eligibility, and readiness.


Schedule follow-up calls and counselling sessions with senior team members.


Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and lead status in CRM/Excel.


Handle basic objections and address queries related to courses, fees, and batches


Achieve daily/weekly call and conversion targets


Coordinate with the marketing and operations team for lead follow-ups


Provide feedback on lead quality and common student concerns


Required Skills & Qualifications


Excellent verbal communication skills (English & Hindi; regional language is a plus)


Confidence in speaking to students and parents over phone calls


Basic understanding of sales or customer interaction (training will be provided)


Ability to listen, empathize, and guide prospects


Organized, disciplined, and target-driven


Comfortable working with spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and basic CRM tools


Preferred (But Not Mandatory)


Experience in education sales, edtech, or telesales.


Knowledge of accounting, commerce, or finance background


Prior experience handling leads and follow-ups.
