Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) – Car Workshop

Job Overview:

The Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) in a car workshop plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service, managing client relationships, and improving customer retention. This role involves handling customer inquiries, coordinating service appointments, resolving complaints, and ensuring a smooth and satisfying customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Interaction & Service Management:
  • Greet customers, understand their service requirements, and provide detailed information about repairs and maintenance.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and the workshop team, ensuring clear communication about service updates.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  1. Appointment Scheduling & Follow-ups:
  • Manage and schedule service appointments efficiently to optimize workshop operations.
  • Follow up with customers regarding ongoing repairs, estimated completion time, and service feedback.
  • Remind customers about periodic maintenance and special service offers.
  1. Sales & Upselling Services:
  • Educate customers about additional services, extended warranties, and maintenance packages.
  • Suggest relevant products and services that enhance the vehicle's longevity and performance.
  1. Coordination with Workshop & Technicians:
  • Work closely with mechanics and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of serviced vehicles.
  • Ensure customers receive proper explanations of repair work done and provide cost breakdowns.
  1. Customer Feedback & Relationship Building:
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  1. Billing & Documentation:
  • Assist customers with billing queries and ensure accurate invoice generation.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, vehicle service history, and follow-up actions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automobile servicing and repairs (preferred).
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business administration, automobile engineering, or related field (preferred).
