Data Entry Operator

Role Overview:

The Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurate and timely entry, maintenance, and management of operational and accounting data. The role also provides support to the accounts function, including basic accounting entries in Tally. Knowledge of accounting principles will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry of sales, purchase, stock, and production records
• Maintain and update records in Excel and internal systems
• Support accounting entries in Tally (sales, purchases, expenses, vouchers)
• Assist with basic bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks
• Coordinate with accounts and operations teams for data accuracy
• Maintain proper documentation and filing (physical & digital)
• Generate simple reports as required by management

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator
• Working knowledge of Tally and basic accounting concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to meet timelines and handle repetitive tasks efficiently
• Experience in garment/manufacturing industry is a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: Graduate
• Certification or training in Tally / Accounting will be an advantage
• 1–2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role
