Geographic Information System / GIS

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of GIS concepts and spatial data handling
• Proficiency in the following software:
• ArcGIS (Mandatory)
• QGIS
• AutoCAD (Basic – Line & Polygon DWG)
• Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and map layouts
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Freshers or candidates with relevant internship/project experience can apply

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of remote sensing
• Experience with data collection using GPS tools
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python) for GIS automation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform spatial data analysis, mapping, and visualization using GIS tools
• Create, edit, and manage geospatial databases and datasets
• Work with satellite imagery, shapefiles, and other spatial data formats
• Generate maps, reports, and presentations based on project requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams to support project planning and execution
• Convert and integrate CAD drawings into GIS formats where required
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation
