Salary Range: Rs 15000-25000 per month

Industry: Kidswear / Apparel (preferred)

Experience: 1 –2 Years (Freshers with relevant internship experience can apply)

Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Fashion Designer to join our kidswear design team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of children’s clothing trends, fabrics, colors, and comfort, and should be eager to learn and grow in the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist senior designers in developing kidswear designs (infant, toddler, or kids category)

-Create design sketches, mood boards, and color palettes

-Research kidswear trends, themes, prints, and fabrics

-Support in fabric selection, trims, and accessories

-Prepare tech packs / basic design specifications

-Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams

-Assist during sample development and fitting sessions

-Make design changes based on feedback

-Maintain design files, records, and seasonal collections

Requirements & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or related field

Knowledge of kidswear sizing, comfort, and safety standards (preferred)

Basic knowledge of fabrics, prints, embroidery, and garment construction

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (basic level acceptable)

Good sense of colors, patterns, and creativity

Strong attention to detail

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills
