Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring: Continuously watch network elements (routers, switches, servers) for performance and potential issues using monitoring tools.
• Incident Response: Detect, respond to, and resolve alerts and incidents (e.g., DDoS attacks, power failures, slow connections.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix complex network problems, often escalating issues to higher-level engineers.
• Maintenance: Perform routine checks, system backups, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Hardware Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, cabling, and associated equipment.
• Security: Implement high-level security actions and manage firewall/VPN configurations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations and incident resolutions.
