Video Editor

Role Overview

The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos that align with the creative vision of the project. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of editing software, storytelling instincts, and the ability to work under deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into final deliverables (short-form & long-form videos).
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, animations, and other elements to enhance storytelling.
• Work closely with directors, cinematographers, and clients to achieve desired outcomes.
• Maintain brand guidelines and consistency across all edits.
• Review and revise edits based on feedback.
• Organize and manage project files, ensuring proper storage and backup.
• Stay updated with the latest video trends, editing styles, and software too
• RequirementsProven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio/reel required).
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.).
• Strong understanding of pacing, timing, storytelling, and audio syncing.
• Knowledge of color correction and grading.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio/reel required).
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, etc.).
• Strong understanding of pacing, timing, storytelling, and audio syncing.
• Knowledge of color correction and grading.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics/animation experience.
• Knowledge of sound design.
• Experience with multi-camera editing and 4K workflows.
• Familiarity with social media video formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.).
