Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance (QA) Head will lead the quality management and quality control function to ensure that products meet quality standards and comply with quality guidelines and design and product specifications. He/ she will lead a team of quality checkers, to ensure both the accuracy and throughput of the quality assurance department. 

Responsibilities

·       Quality assurance: Lead quality assurance team, and ensure the specified quality standards for finished products are met . In Line QC , Vendor management.

·       Quality control: Oversee inspections, and ensure products meet quality standards 

·       Shop-floor management: Develop and implement shop-floor processes that meet quality standards as well as throughput required from the QA department. Also assess manpower requirements and liaise with HR department to make sure people are hired, inducted and trained to meet quality standard and throughput

·       Quality improvement: Identify and address quality issues, and implement corrective actions 

·       Training: plan and organize training and support to staff 

·       Compliance: Ensuring that (a) products meet required standards, (b) the QA department complies with quality policies; (c) QA department meets deadline, throughput and productivity. 

Travelling is included within West Bengal, Suburbs area of Kolkata.

Qualifications

1.  Bachelor’s degree

2.  Min 3 years of experience in quality function in Fashion/Apparel industry

3.  Knowledge of QA techniques

4.  Experience of leading/managing QA teams
