About the Role
We are seeking articulate and trustworthy Sales Associates to guide clients through high-value gemstone and sacred product purchases at our Kolkata office. This is a consultative selling role where you'll engage with warm inbound leads over phone calls, helping customers make meaningful and informed buying decisions that align with their spiritual and personal needs.
The ideal candidate thrives in structured sales environments, demonstrates strong communication skills, and is passionate about building customer trust through honest, value-driven conversations.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales & Customer Engagement
- Handle inbound sales queries over the phone with professionalism and warmth
- Understand customer needs, spiritual goals, and astrological requirements
- Recommend suitable gemstones, Rudraksha beads, or sacred wearables based on customer profiles
- Guide customers through product authenticity, certification, energization, and pricing
Consultative Selling & Trust Building
- Build long-term customer relationships through clear, honest, and empathetic communication
- Explain product value propositions, including lab certifications and Vedic significance
- Address customer concerns and objections with confidence and product knowledge
- Educate customers on gemstone properties, wearing methods, and care instructions
Sales Target Achievement & CRM Management
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM systems
- Follow up with prospects systematically to nurture leads and close sales
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams for smooth order processing
- Escalate delivery or product-related issues to ensure exceptional customer experience
- Collaborate with astrologers and consultants for personalized product recommendations
Customer Experience & Issue Resolution
- Handle post-sale queries and delivery-related escalations professionally
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, especially for premium and time-sensitive orders
- Act as a trusted advisor, representing Divine Lane's values of authenticity and integrity
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 0–3 years of experience in telesales, retail sales, or phone-based selling roles
- Strong verbal communication, persuasive skills, and active listening abilities
- Ability to handle high-value product conversations with professionalism and confidence
- Comfortable working in a structured, target-driven sales environment
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic digital literacy
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric mindset
- Willingness to work 6 days a week (11:30 AM – 9:30 PM; Weekly Off: Sunday)
Preferred
- Interest in gemstones, sacred items, astrology, or wellness-focused products
- Experience selling premium, luxury, or high-ticket products
- Background in spiritual, wellness, or lifestyle product sales
- Multilingual abilities (Hindi, Bengali, or other regional languages)
