Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant who will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, handling taxation, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

• Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Handle GST, TDS and compliance
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records
• Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making
• Coordinate with other departments for financial planning and budgeting
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Required Skills Strong knowledge of Accounting, Taxation and Auditing
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software
• Good understanding of fund flow and credit control management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Basic to good communication skills
• Educational Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com Hons) or Higher(Specified field only)
• Specialisation in Accounting / Finance / Taxation is an advantage
• Experience Required : Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation
• Experience in handling company accounts independently will be preferred
• Additional Requirements : Candidates from Accounting / Auditing / Taxation industry preferred
• Age: 30 to 50 years
• Candidates located based from Hooghly
