Job Title: Student Counsellor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Student Counsellor with 1 year of experience to provide academic, career, and personal counselling to students. The ideal candidate will support student well-being, guide academic planning, and assist in career decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, personal, and emotional issues

 Guide students in career planning, course selection, and goal setting

 Identify students facing academic or emotional challenges and provide appropriate support

 Maintain confidential student records and counselling documentation

 Coordinate with teachers, parents, and administration to support student development

 Conduct workshops on study skills, stress management, and career awareness

 Refer students to external professionals when required

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field

 Minimum 1 year of experience as a Student Counsellor or in a similar role

 Basic knowledge of counselling techniques and student development

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Empathy, patience, and active listening

 Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality

 Organizational and problem-solving skills

Salary & Benefits

 Salary: 15,000 – 18,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
