Job Description

A Team Manager is responsible for driving business growth through effective channel development, team management, and sales planning. The role focuses on expanding the distribution network, achieving sales targets, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with partners, agents, and customers.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Generate new business through existing and new distribution channels.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Work closely with channel partners to boost productivity.
  • 2. Channel Management Recruit, train, and activate agents / advisors / channel partners.
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure achievement of KPIs.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with distributors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and compliance of all channel partners.
  • 3. Team Leadership Lead, guide, and motivate the sales & distribution team.
  • Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
  • Support team members in closing high-value cases.
  • 4. Operational Excellence Prepare and analyze sales reports, MIS, and productivity metrics.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and service teams.
  • Maintain documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • 5. Customer Relationship Management Ensure high-quality post-sales service and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve escalations and support partners in servicing clients.
  • Promote company products through customer engagement activities.
  • 6. Compliance & Audi Ensure 100% compliance with IRDAI guidelines (for insurance).
  • Conduct audits of partner activities and maintain regulatory standards.

  • Eligibility / Qualifications Graduate / Post-Graduate (MBA preferred)
