Waiter / Steward

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Steward/Waitress to join our café team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus and explain daily specials
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Ensure tables are clean and properly set
• Handle billing and payment processing
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints politely
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service
• Follow café policies and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a café/restaurant is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Presentable appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is preferred (Petpooja)
