Job Description – Accounts Executive / Accountant

Location: 3/1B Gurudas dutta garden lane, Kolkata - 700067

Experience: Minimum 3 Years (Tally ERP 9 mandatory)

Qualification: B.Com or equivalent

Role Overview:

URGENT hiring for an experienced Accounts Executive / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy in financial records, and support smooth business operations. The candidate must have strong knowledge of Tally ERP 9, bookkeeping, and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter and manage Purchase & Sales transactions in Tally ERP 9.

Handle Cash Book entries and daily accounts maintenance.

Perform Bank Reconciliation regularly.

Maintain and update Stock Journals and inventory records.

Manage miscellaneous accounts-related tasks as required.

Prepare and maintain Excel-based MIS reports for management.

Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping of bills, vouchers, and other documents.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Liaise with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for financial matters.

Required Skills & Competencies :

Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (mandatory).

Strong working knowledge of MS Excel & basic computer applications.

Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
