Accountant

Responsibilities of the accountant would include managing of the daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for property-related transactions, handling AP/AR, reconciliations, GST/TDS filings, audits, and financial reporting using software like Tally or SAP, supporting budgeting, and ensuring adherence to real estate accounting standards for project financial health. 

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting: Manage day-to-day transactions, bookkeeping, ledgers, and journals.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, performance reports, and variance analyses.
• Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, VAT, and other statutory filings, ensuring timely submission.
• Reconciliations: Perform bank, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee payments and collections, following up with vendors and clients.
• Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing data and addressing queries.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in budget planning and financial forecasting.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and ERP systems. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (B.Com, M.Com, MBA preferred).
• Experience: Proven experience in accounting, especially with real estate or construction.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, GST, TDS, Excel, and accounting software.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
