Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong practical experience in Tally accounting, GST compliance, stock maintenance, and statutory filings. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations independently while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

• Key Responsibilities:Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally (ERP)
• Handle GST compliance, including:
• GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• GST reconciliation
• GST input tax credit tracking
• Manage stock/inventory accounting, including:
• Stock entries, valuation, and reconciliation
• Monitoring inward and outward stock movements
• Process TDS deductions and compliance, including:
• TDS calculation, deduction, and payment
• Filing TDS returns and issuing Form 16/16A
• Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoicing as per statutory requirements
• Prepare and maintain:
• Sales and purchase records
• Bank reconciliation statements
• Ledger scrutiny and journal entries
• Coordinate with auditors and support audits when required
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations
• Maintain proper documentation and records for financial transactions
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Hands-on experience with Tally (mandatory)
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, E-Way Bill, and E-Invoicing
• Experience in stock/inventory management
• Good understanding of accounting principles and taxation laws
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer operations
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience:Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (can be adjusted)
• Preferred Candidate Profile:Experience working in a CA firm or commercial organization
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
