Accountant

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and hands-on experience in managing financial records and reporting.

• Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Reporting & CompliancePrepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
• 2. Accounts ManagementOversee accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts regularly
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital efficiently
• 3. Taxation & Legal ComplianceManage GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with external consultants for tax planning and assessments
• Ensure timely payment of all statutory dues
• 4. Budgeting & Financial PlanningAssist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Analyze financial performance and suggest cost-control measures
• Provide MIS reports and financial insights to management
• 5. Team LeadershipSupervise junior accountants and finance staff
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting procedures are followed
• Train and guide team members
• 6. Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies and improve accounting systems
• Implement internal controls and best practices
• Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel skills
