Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of Advanced Excel, Tally ERP 9 & Tally Prime, TDS returns, bookkeeping, and a solid understanding of GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts on a daily basis
• Handle accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and trial balance
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filing of TDS returns
• Ensure proper bookkeeping as per GAAP standards
• Reconcile bank statements, cash, and vendor accounts
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain records for audits and coordinate with auditors when required
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• Strong working knowledge of:
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, reports)
• Tally ERP 9 & Tally Prime
• TDS return filing & compliance
• Bookkeeping principles
• GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Good understanding of accounting standards and financial controls
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
