Accountant

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

The ideal candidate will provide vital support to our accounting department by managing daily financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in our records, and assisting with monthly closings.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining day-to-day accounts in Tally.
• Recording financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Assisting in the preparation of balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Performing bank reconciliations and managing petty cash.
• Organizing and maintaining financial records and filing systems.
• Handling data entry and reporting using Advanced Excel.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the accounting field.
• Software Proficiency: Mandatory hands-on experience with Tally Prime.
• MS Office: Strong command over Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• Attributes: Good understanding of accounting principles, high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
