Location: Paikpara, Kolkata

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday – Saturday)

Role Overview

Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join their team in Lake Town. The ideal candidate will manage their day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and maintaining accurate records using modern accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Taxation & Compliance: Timely and accurate filing of GST and TDS returns; staying updated with the latest e-filing procedures.

Accounting Operations:

Maintaining books of accounts, processing invoices, and managing payables/receivables.

Reconciliation: Performing regular bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

Software Management: Daily data entry and report generation using Tally (ERP/Prime) or SAP.

Reporting: Preparing monthly financial statements and assisting in year-end audit processes.

Candidate Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in an accounting role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP or SAP is mandatory. 

Statutory Knowledge: Strong grasp of GST, TDS, and E-filing portals.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com) or a related field.

Gender: Open to all candidates (Female candidates preferred).

Work Details & Compensation

Salary: ₹23,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience).

Shift Timings: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday.

Location: BT Road, Paikpara, Kolkata (Candidates residing nearby will be prioritized).
