Accountant/ Accounts Executive

The Accountant Cum Billing Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting and billing operations for both B2B and e-commerce channels. The role involves accurate invoice generation, GST compliance, product scanning, and smooth coordination between dispatch, accounts, and sales teams to ensure timely and error-free billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain B2B and e-commerce sales invoices with proper GST classification and pricing.
• Perform product scanning and barcode verification during billing to ensure correct item, quantity, and rate.
• Generate e-way bills for outward movement of goods and ensure compliance with GST norms.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, credit notes, and debit notes.
• File GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B within statutory timelines and reconcile sales data with books.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for smooth dispatch and billing closure.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, transport documents, and GST records for audit purposes.
• Reconcile e-commerce portal reports (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) with internal billing data.
• Assist in monthly GST reconciliation and respond to basic GST-related queries.
• Ensure billing accuracy, minimize mismatches, and follow internal accounting controls.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing, and e-way bill procedures.
• Experience in handling B2B billing and e-commerce billing is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounting or billing software and barcode scanning systems.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.
• Basic understanding of Excel and data reconciliation.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments efficiently.
