Admission Counsellor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Academic Counsellor to provide students with guidance on academic planning, career paths, and personal development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or group academic counseling to students regarding course selection, educational planning, and career pathways.
• Guide students through admission processes, program requirements, and institutional policies.
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records
• Organize and participate in academic workshops, seminars, and orientation programs.
• Provide information about scholarships, internships, and extracurricular opportunities
• Assist students in identifying learning challenges and suggest strategies or resources for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience as an academic advisor, counselor, or in a similar educational role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups
• Problem-solving attitude with a compassionate and student-centered approach
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with educational systems, curriculum frameworks, and student support tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with counseling software or academic management systems
• Knowledge of career guidance tools
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities (if applicable to the institution)

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, campus-based
• Required weekends during peak admissions
• Required to go for PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITES with the sales team.
