Job Title: Admission Counselor

About the Role

At Pice Educare, our Admission Counselors are the bridge between ambitious students and their dream universities. We are looking for dynamic, high-energy professionals who can guide students through the complex landscape of MBBS (India and Abroad) and Engineering/Management admissions.

In this role, you will not just be "selling" a seat; you will be career-mapping for students, advising parents on financial planning for education, and ensuring Pice Educare remains the most trusted name in the industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Counseling & Student Guidance

  • Provide comprehensive face-to-face and telephonic counseling to students and parents regarding admission procedures for MBBS admission in India and MBBS abroad (Russia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, etc.).
  • Understand the student's academic background and financial budget to recommend the most suitable colleges/universities.
  • Clarify doubts regarding eligibility, fee structures, visa processes, and university culture.

2. Lead Management & Conversion

  • Handle inbound inquiries and make outbound calls to prospective leads provided by the marketing team.
  • Maintain a high conversion ratio by effectively following up with warm leads.
  • Manage the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track student status and update interaction logs daily.

3. Application & Documentation

  • Assist students in filling out university application forms and ensure all necessary documents are collected and verified.
  • Coordinate with the backend operations team to ensure smooth processing of offer letters and visa applications.

4. Sales Targets & Performance

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets defined by the management.
  • Participate in education fairs, seminars, and spot-admission events organized by the company.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Graduate).

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Academic Counseling, Tele-sales, or Inside Sales.
  • Previous experience in the Overseas Education or EdTech industry is highly preferred.
  • Freshers with excellent communication skills and a zeal for sales are welcome to apply.

Key Skills:

  • Communication: Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali (Must be able to converse comfortably with parents from diverse backgrounds).
  • Sales Aptitude: Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
  • Empathy: Ability to listen patiently to parent concerns and provide honest solutions.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
