Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead and manage the retail sales operations by overseeing the E-T-B-R process (Enquiry, Test Drive, Booking, Retail). The ideal candidate will focus on driving enquiry generation, improving conversion ratios, ensuring digital adoption, managing manpower, and ensuring accurate data management to achieve monthly and long-term sales targets.
- Key Responsibilities:Retail Sales OperationsManage the complete E-T-B-R cycle for a seamless and result-oriented retail process.
- Ensure the quality and volume of test drives from all enquiry sources.
- Verify the accuracy and authenticity of booking and DMS data.
- Achieve monthly retail sales targets while monitoring the VDN (Vehicle Delivery Note) vs. Retail ratio.
- Focus on improving Conversion Ratio (CVR) through process adherence.
- Enquiry Generation & ActivationsPlan and execute activations and marketing activities for generating new enquiries.
- Forecast and prepare for current and next month's (N & N+1) sales.
- Manpower & Productivity ManagementMonitor manpower productivity, identify training needs, and conduct skill-building sessions.
- Motivate and retain sales staff using recognition, rewards, and incentives.
- Ensure adherence to the brand's Sales Story across all interactions.
- Digital Sales EnablementEnsure the adoption of digital tools such as:
- Test Drive Anytime Anywhere (TDAA)
- Personal Voice Assistant (PVA)
- Bring Showroom Home (BSH)
- Virtual Reality (VR)
- Sales Tablets
- Oversee the performance and effectiveness of Digital Engagement Managers.
- Inventory & Dealer OperationsEnsure smooth dealer working capital rotation.
- Manage aging stock by focusing on liquidation and forecasting for future sales.
- Support dealer market outstanding reduction through planned initiatives.
- Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Hands-on experience with CRM/DMS systems and sales analytics.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and retail technology is highly desirable.
- Key Competencies:Strong analytical mindset with a focus on numbers and performance.
- Customer-centric approach and strong sales acumen.
- Ability to train and lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms for customer engagement and reporting.
