Assistant Cook

A junior chef, or commis chef, assists senior kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, and station management. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, plating dishes, managing inventory, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. They work under the guidance of a station chef and learn various culinary techniques to prepare them for future advancement.
