Role ObjectiveThe Back Office Executive is responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate policyholder records, and ensuring the seamless processing of insurance documentation. You will act as the backbone of the branch operations, ensuring all "behind-the-scenes" functions meet company standards and IRDAI regulations.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesData Management: Accurately entering and updating customer information, policy details, and premium payments into the internal CRM system.
  • Documentation & KYC: Verifying Know Your Customer (KYC) documents and ensuring all policy applications are complete and compliant before processing.
  • Policy Servicing: Handling requests for policy renewals, address changes, nominee updates, and surrenders.
  • Coordination: Liaising between the sales team, underwriting department, and customers to resolve any documentation discrepancies (pendency management).
  • Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports regarding processing volumes, TAT (Turnaround Time), and error rates.
  • Archiving: Maintaining physical and digital filing systems for easy retrieval of historical policy data.
  • Candidate ProfileEducation: Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Commerce or Finance background preferred).
  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in back-office operations, preferably within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) sector.
  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel skills like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables are a huge plus).
  • Fast and accurate typing speed.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail (missing a decimal point matters in insurance!).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
