Banquet Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Banquet Manager to oversee our 3-story multi-purpose building in Dhakuria. You will be responsible for end-to-end management—from generating event leads (Weddings, Annaprasan, Corporate) to flawless execution on the day of the event.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Bookings: Actively seek out and convert leads for social and corporate events. Conduct site tours for potential clients.
• Client Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, helping them plan menus, decor, and floor layouts.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with decorators, freelance service staff.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the setup of the 1st and 2nd floors for events. Ensure ACs, sound systems, and lighting are functional.
• Revenue Management: Collect advances and final payments on time. Maintain a strict "Event Log" and plate-count record.
• Compliance & Safety:Manage noise levels and security during late-night events.
• Facility Oversight: Ensure the building (including washrooms and common areas) is deep-cleaned daily between Academy sessions and Banquet events.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2–5 years in Banquet Management or Hotel Operations (e.g., Guest Relations or F&B Service).
• Communication: Fluent in Bengali and Hindi (English is a plus). Must be polite and persuasive.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the South Kolkata market and local event vendors.
• Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, especially on weekends and during the wedding season.
